Ingredients
- 4 pounds stewing beef
- 1 lime
- 6 T pikliz vinegar
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red pepper, sliced
- 1 shallot, sliced thin
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 t black pepper
- 6 cloves
- 2 T tomato paste
- 4 small carrots, cut in rounds
- 2 lbs okra, fresh or frozen, cut in pieces
- 1 thyme sprig

Preparation
Step 1
1) Marinade meat with lime juice, pikliz vinegar, peppers, shallots, 1/2 onion, scallion, garlic, pepper, and cloves. Marinate overnight or at least 2 hours.
2) Cook meat mixture for 30 min. Add tomato paste with 1/2 c water and cook another 20 min.
3) Add remaining ingredients and 1/4 c water and cook 20 min.
4) Add 4 c water, bring to boil, and cook 20 min.
