Taco Pie

• 8-1/2-oz. pkg cornbread muffin mix
• 1/2 lb. ground beef
• 1-1/4 oz. pkg. taco seasoning mix
• 8 oz. jar salsa
• 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions. Pour batter into a greased 10" pie plate and set aside.

Brown beef in a skillet; drain and stir in taco seasoning. Spoon beef mixture over batter; top with salsa and cheese.

Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes, until cheese melts and cornbread sets.
