- 1/2 lb. asparagus spears
- olive oil
- freshly ground black pepper

Step 1
Snap tough end from asparagus spears. Rinse. Cut spears into 2 inch pieces.
Heat small amount of olive in saute pan. Add asparagus spears. Sprinkle with pepper.
Saute spears until crisp tender, tossing frequently.
