Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups diced plum tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Fresh basil, cut into ribbons
  • 1 French bread baquette

Preparation

Step 1

Cut baquette into 1/2-inch diagonal slices. Sprinkle lightly with olive oil. Toast in a 350°F oven until lightly browned, turning once.

Combine remaining ingredients. Spoon mixture onto bread slices.
