Ingredients

  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup pace chunky salsa
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 5 cups tortilla chips
  • Sour cream
  • 1 medium tomato chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1 jalapeno pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir the soup and salsa in a 2qt saucepan

2. Cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and no longer pink. Drain off any fat.

3. Stir 1/2 cup soup mixture into the skillet and cook until beef mixture is hot and bubbling.

4. Place the chips on a serving platter and top with beef mixture. Spoon the remaining soup mixture over the beef mixture and top with sour cream, tomatoes and jalapenos.
