Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup shortening
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ¾ cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 10 oz. white chocolate, coarsely chopped
- ½ cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts, lightly toasted

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and shortening, slowly add the sugars, beating well at medium speed. Add egg and beat well. Combine the flour, soda, and salt and add to the cream mix. Mix well. Stir in vanilla and mix. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Drop by 2 tbsp. about 3 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 – 14 minutes.
