Ingredients
- 1 15 oz. can chick peas (garbonzo beans)
- 2 tbs. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 tbs. minced parsley
- 1 tbs. minced red onion

Preparation
Step 1
Drain chickpeas, reserving juice. Do not rinse. Transfer chickpeas to a food processor or blender, and blend with 1/2 cup reserved chickpea juice, lemon juice, cumin, garlic, cayenne. Add parsley and red onion, pulse briefly.
