Ingredients

  • 12 Slices Toast
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Cans Evaporated Milk (3 Cups)
  • 2 Cans boiling water (3 Cups)
  • 10 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3/4 Cup Raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Place 12 slices buttered toast cut into quarters in 8X12X2" baking dish. Sprinkle 3/4 Cup raisins over toast while placing in dish. Place eggs (whip lightly) vanilla, sugar, salt and milk in bowl; mix thoroughly. Add 2 cans (3 cups) boiling water to mixture. Let stand 10 minutes. Mix 10 tsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnemon together and sprinkle evenly on top of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool.
