Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 2/3 c. pineapple juice
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 6 beaten egg yolks
  • Salad:
  • 1 box acini de pepe macaroni
  • 1 lg. can crushed pineapple (use juice for preceeding)
  • 1 can tidbits pineapple
  • 2 cans mandarin oranges
  • 1 medium cool whip
  • 1 sm. pkg colored mini marshmallows

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sauce ingredients and cook over medium heat until thick. Cool and save.
Boil macaroni in salted water; blanch, rinse, and cool. Place in bowl, add cooked mixture. Cover and let stand in fridge overnight. The next morning, add other ingredients and chill.
