Ingredients
- 1 box confectioners sugar (about 4-3/4 cups)
- 1/2 cup cocoa (dry)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1
Combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add water and butter, blend. Add vanilla. Mix until thick enough to frost cake. Frosts top and sides of two 8 or 9 inch layer cakes.
