Ingredients
- 1 cup unsifted flour
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
In bowl, sift together first 3 ingredients. In a large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat butter until smooth. Beat in flour mixture and vanilla until well blended. refrigerate 1 hour. Shape into 1” balls. Place about 1 ½” inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with lightly floured fork. Bake in 375 degree oven to 10-12 minutes are until edges are lightly browned. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
Chocolate Melting Moments:
Follow basic recipe. Sift ¼ cup cocoa and ¼ tsp. salt with dry ingredients. If desired, place a nut on top of each cookie before baking.
