Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant lemon pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs and oil. Beat until well mixed. Fold in poppy seeds. Pour into 2 greased 9 x 5 loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 – 40 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes before removing.

Variation:
May add lemon extract and bake in tube or Bundt pan for cake. Dust with powdered sugar or glaze with powdered sugar and lemon juice.
