Ingredients

  • 3-4 chuck roast or Boston butt
  • 2 large carrots, sliced
  • 2 large celery stalks, sliced
  • 3 med baking potatoes (peeled or not)
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 8oz tomato sauce
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1/4 cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c ketchup
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Place vegetables in crock pot. Sprinkle rosemary and thyme over vegetables.
Place roast in crock pot. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
Cook on high 5-6 hours or on low for 10-12 hours.
