Ingredients

  • ● 7 lg Green Peppers, or any color peppers, we like red
  • ● 5 cup Boiling Salted Water
  • ● 2 lb. Ground Beef
  • ● 4 Tbsp Onion, Chopped
  • ● 2 tsp Salt
  • ● 1/4 tsp Garlic Salt
  • ● 2 cup Rice, Cooked
  • ● 2 28 oz Tomato Sauce, divided

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350℉. Cook cleaned and empty peppers in boiling salted water, may need to cook 3-4 at a time. Boil for 5 min. Drain.

Cook and stir ground beef and onion til onion is tender. Drain. Add salt, garlic salt, rice and 2 cups of tomato sauce. Heat thoroughly.

Stand peppers upright in ungreased 8x8 or 9x13 baking dish. Lightly stuff each pepper with meat mixture. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers. Cover, bake 45 minutes. Uncover, bake 15 min. longer.
