Ingredients
- ½ tsp. olive oil
- ½ cup onion, chopped
- ½ cup celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups fish stock or clam juice
- 10 0z canned tomatoes
- ¼ cup white wine
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. parsley
- 1 whole bay leaf
- ½ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 lbs. fish fillets cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- 1 cup crab meat, fresh or canned

Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter with olive oil in a large Dutch oven. Sauté onions, celery and garlic until tender. Stir in fish stock or clam juice, tomatoes, wine, lemon juice, herbs and seasonings. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
Add fish and cook for 10 minutes. Add shrimp and crab meat, cook 5 more minutes and serve.
