Ingredients
- 4 RIPE AVOCADOS
- 3 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE (ABOUT 1 LEMON) I USED REAL LEMON
- 8 DASHES HOT SAUCE (TABASCO)
- 1/2 CUP SMALL-DICED RED ONION (1 SMALL ONION)
- 1 LARGE GARLIC CLOVE, MINCED
- 1 TEASPOON KOSHER SALT
- 1 TEASPOON FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER
- 1 MEDIUM TOMATO, SEEDED AND SMALL DICED

Preparation
Step 1
CUT THE AVOCADOS IN HALF, REMOVE THE PITS, AND SCOOP THE FLESH OUT OF THEIR SHELLS INTO A LARGE BOWL. MASH AVOCADOS UNTIL SMOOTH. (I USED POTATO MASHER) IMMEDIATELY ADD THE LEMON JUICE, HOT SAUCE, ONION, GARLIC, SALT AND PEPPER AND MIX WELL. ADD THE TOMATOES. MIX WELL AND TASTE TO SEE IF IT NEEDS MORE SALT AND PEPPER.
I PLACE A PIECE OF SARAN WRAP AGAINST GUACAMOLE WHEN STORING. SUPPOSEDLY KEEPS AVOCADOS FROM TURNING BROWN.
