Oatmeal S’mores Bars

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips (I used the Hershey's milk chocolate chips)
- 1 cup miniature peanut butter cups (Reese's unwrapped mini's)
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, shortening, and sugars. Add the molasses, vanilla, and eggs and beat again. Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and oats. Slowly beat into the butter mixture.
Spread the batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at350* for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips and peanut butter cups. Cover the chocolate with the marshmallows. Place in the oven again and bake another 4 minutes. Then change the oven temperature to broil. Broil 1 minute. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting. Use a wet knife to cut into 24 bars.
