Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tbsp. hot water
  • 1 pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and hot water. Mix well. Add flour and soda. Stir in nuts, oatmeal, vanilla and butterscotch chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
