Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp instant coffee granules
- 1 c heavy cream
- 5 oz unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 c unsalted butter

Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, coffee, and cream in small but deep, heavy pot.
(Mixture will boil up during cooking.)
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer 6 minutes without stirring.
Remove from heat.
Add chocolate.
Stir to blend.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Chill until mixture begins to thicken.
Beat until thick and creamy.
