  • 16 whole dates (such as medjool)
  • 4 ounces Parmigiano-Reggiano, room temperature

Instructions
1. Slit each of the dates lengthwise and remove pits. With a small cheese knife, cut or break the Parmigiano into thin pieces roughly the same length as the dates. Place a piece of cheese in each date, close the date around the cheese, and serve.
