Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese, room temp.
  • Dash of black pepper
  • 1 T. chopped scallion (green onion)
  • Dash of garlic powder
  • 1 T. chopped, ripe olives
  • 1 (1 lb.) loaf thin-sliced white bread
  • 1/8 tsp. celery salt
  • 2 lg. cucumbers, peeled & sliced thin

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, scallions, olives, celery salt, pepper and garlic powder; mix until blended well. Spread the cheese mixture on half the slices of bread. Top with a layer of sliced cucumbers. Place the plain bread slices on top, trim away the crusts and cut into quarters. Yield: 60 tea sandwiches
