Ingredients

- 3 cups (18 oz) semi sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate chips)
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated)
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1. Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Glaze (in place of nuts) 3/4 cup peanut butter chips
- 2. Glaze: 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 3. Marshmellow Fudge: 2 TBSP butter and 2 cups mini marshmellows

Step 1
In a heavy saucepan; over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milkand salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts if desired and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper or buttered foil lined 8 or 9 inch square pan.
Chill 2 hours or unitl firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off wax paper and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.
Varaiations:
1. Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Glazed Fudge: Proceed as above, stir in 3/4 cup peanut butter chips in place of nuts
2. Glaze: Melt 1/2 cup peanut butter chips with 1/2 cup whipping cream; stir until thick and smooth. Spread over Fudge.
3. Marshmellow Fudge: Proceed as above, omit nuts and add 2 TBSP butter to mixture; fold in 2 cups miniture marshmellows.
