Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs. pork sausage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Two 10 3/4 oz. cans Beef Broth OR 4 Beef Bouillon Cubes + 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups Yellow Corn Meal
  • 2 tsp. Poultry Seasoning
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of pepper

Step 1

In a large skillet, brown the pork sausage and ground beef. Add the beef broth OR water and beef bouillon cubes boiled for 10 minutes together. Add the cornmeal, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet; Pat the mixture tightly in the skillet. Cook over LOW to MEDIUM heat for 10 minutes. Flip the scrapple over, *keeping mixture together*, and cook an additional 10 minutes. Place the mixture into a glass 9” x 13” pan; Refrigerate overnight. Cut into squares and cook each square in a hot skillet (until heated through) before serving. Serve immediately. This makes a delicious, hot breakfast!
