Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- dash of salt
- 1/2 cup margarine or
- butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups Rice Krispies
- cereal
- 1 package (6 oz., 1 cup)
- semi-sweet or
- milk chocolate morsels
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans,
- (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
1. Stir together flour, soda and salt. Set aside.
2. In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugars until until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture, mixing until combined. Stir in cereal or chocolate morsels. Drop by level tablespoon onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
3. Bake at 350° 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheets and cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.
