Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 c milk
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 pkg yeast
- 1/2 c warm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 c flour
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c raisins
- 1 tbsp softened butter
- maple or vanilla flavoring
- water
- confectioners sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Heat 1 c milk and 3 tbsp butter until warm and butter melted.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c warm water.
Add egg and milk/butter mixture.
Add 1/2 c sugar, salt, and flour.
Do not add too much flour so dough is too dry to stir.
Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled in size.
Put dough on floured board and knead slightly.
Pat out to 1" thick and oblong.
Melt 1/4 c butter and spread on dough.
Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon and shake over butter.
Press raisins into dough.
Roll up from longest side and cut 2" slices.
Place with cut side up (flat) on buttered cookie sheet, about 1" apart.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375.
Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
Mix together glaze ingredients and pour over rolls.
