  • 8 tbs. butter, cut into pieces
  • 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 oz. walnuts, chopped

Step 1

8 tbs. butter, cut into pieces
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter over low heat, remove from heat and add chocolate, let stand 1 minutes and then whisk until smooth. Stand 10 minutes. Whisk in the sugar and the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla; with a wooden spoon add flour and the nuts. Cook for 20 – 25 minutes and hcill 4 hours.
