Ingredients
- Chocolate Mixture:
- Two 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/2 cup unbleached white flourt
- Peanut Butter Mixture:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoon unbleached white flour

Step 1
1. Melt chocolate on very low heat in saucepan or double boiler along with the butter. With electric mixer, blend chocolate-butter mixture and honey. Add vanilla. Gradually add flours. Mix well and set aside.
2. In a separate bowl, cream butter and peanut butter, using clean beaters. Beat in honey, then flour.
3. Divide chocolate mixture in half. Set 1 bowl aside. Drop teaspoons of chocolate batter onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. top each mound with a small spoonful of peanut butter mixture. Then top once again with a spoonful of the reserved chocolate mixture. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
Note: Don't overbake. Watch bottoms. Cookies will become crisp as they cool.
