Preparation

Step 1

Heat refried beans till warm and spreadable. Spread in a 8 inch pie
or cake pan. Mix sour cream and ranch dressing till combined. Spread
this mixture over refried beans. Then you will need to put the cheese
over this mixture till it is covered. Layer your tomato, onion and
lettuce any way you like. Garnish with black olives. You can
substitute any of the vegetables for anything you like or eliminate
anything you do not like. We use nachos to dip into it.

Having begun to cook as a hobby, I now have a reputation for being
good at it and am invited to potlucks just to see what new creation
I'll bring. A family friend was clearing out her book shelves and
bestowed many old cooking magazines and books upon me, among which was
this which I tried out for Father's Day with great success. I served
slices with an orange sauce, but I think any sauce or fresh fruit
would make a nice accompaniment.
