Ingredients
- Bottom:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Topping:
- 1 package gelatin
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup icing sugr
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- red food colouring
- coconut to sprinle over top

Step 1
Bottom:
Mix all ingredients and press into 8" x 8" pan. Bake at 350 degt. until slightly browned.
Topping:
Mix gelatine in water and let stand 5 minutes. Add sugar. Heat to boiling point and let boil 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Cool and add icing sugar and whip until thick. Add baking powder, vanilla and red food colouring. Beat until thick and pour over bottom layer.
Cover top with coconut. Chill and cut into squares.
