Ingredients
- 1 pkg 250 g cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup butter, unsalted , softened
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- Filling;
- 3/4 cup pizza or pasta sauce
- 2 tsp each of oregano, basil
- Topping;
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl, beat cream with butter until fluffy; beat in sugar and salt. Using wooden spoon, gradually stir in flour. Form into ball; cut into quarters and shape into discs. Wrap each in plastic wrap ; refrigerate for at least 2 hrs or until chilled. ( make ahead; refrigerate at least 24hrs) let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before rolling.
Filling;
on lightly floured surface, roll dough into 11 inch circle. Combine pizza sauce, basil and spread 1/4 over circle. Cut into 12 wedges. Starting at wide end , roll up each, curving to form a crescent. Place 2 inches apart, on parchement lined cookie sheets.
Topping;
Sprinkle cheese over rugalahs. Bake in center of 350* oven for 30 -35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
