Italian Spaghetti Sauce
By LadyRev-2
This is one of my oldest recipes -- from my Better Homes and Garden Cookbook. I always knew to just turn to page 184, even if I didn't remember the precise name of the recipe. I finally transferred the recipe when the page became so torn and discolored, I could hardly read it.

Preparation
Step 1
Cook onion in hot oil until golden. Add meat and garlic; brown lightly. Add remaining ingredients; simmer uncovered 2 - 2 1/2 hours until thick. Add the mushrooms so they only cook a short while.
Serve on hot cooked spaghetti, with parmesan cheese and garlic bread.
