Ingredients

  • 24 oz evaporate low fat milk
  • 1 T butter, melted
  • 28 oz day old Italian bread or French bread
  • 4 c low fat milk
  • 1 c raisins
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t nutmeg
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 5 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

1) Combine butter and evaporated milk.

2) Combine bread, milk, and raisins and let stand 30 min.

3) Combine remaining ingredients and combine all parts together.

4) Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon, raisins, and sugar on top. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
