Ingredients

  • MEAT Optional:
  • 1 pkg large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 lbs softened cream cheese
  • 1 small jar med or hot salsa
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • (if dry seasoning add some extra cream cheese)
  • 1 med pkg finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small head if iceberg lettuce finely shredded
  • 1 jar/can jalapeno peppers chopped in 1/4
  • Thin sliced chopped ham, turkey or chicken

Preparation

Step 1

Mix softened cream cheese with salsa (should spread easily w/o being runny).

Lay tortilla flat and spread mixture from center on out
(leave last 1 1/2 inch free of mixture).

Sprinkle thin layer of shredded cheese over mixture.
Spread layer of lettuce over cheese (a must do).
Spread jalapenos intermittently around tortilla.
Optional: Spread meat intermittently around tortilla.

Roll it up:
Start at outer edge and roll tortilla, rolling ingredients inside until whole tortilla is rolled.

Slice tortilla in no more than 1" wide pieces
