Cookies: Gooey Butter Cookies

Ingredients

1 (18.25 oz.) box butter cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Powdered sugar, for coating

Preparation

Step 1

Beat together all ingredients, except powdered sugar, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Roll into 1" balls, roll in powdered sugar, and arrange 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in a 350° oven for 10-12 minutes.

Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar when cooled.
