Ingredients

  • 1 lb. raw Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 Spanish Onion (Chopped)
  • 4 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 Cup Grass fed Organic Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil or Bacon Fat
  • 2 Wedges fresh Lemon
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cut sprouts in half; rinse, drain, set aside
Chop Onion
Mince garlic
Heat butter in sauté pan over Medium-High Heat
Add onion and garlic until bits begin to darken; remove from pan; set aside Heat olive oil or bacon fat in pan
Place sprouts flat side down and sear until golden/brown
Flip sprouts and sear other side
Add onions and garlic back to pan
Salt and pepper to taste Saute veggies another 3-5 minutes and remove from heat
Squeeze fresh lemon on veggies
Serve
