Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. breadcrumbs
- 1 tbs. chopped parsley
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbs. oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbs. green peppercorns
- 1 ½ cups beef stock, heated
- 1 tbs. cornstarch
- 3 tbs. cold water
- Salt

Step 1
Mix meat, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixer for 2 minutes at high speed; season to taste and shape into steaks.
Heat oil in a large frying pan, cook steaks 8-10 minutes over medium heat; when cooked, remove and keep hot in oven. Add onion to frying pan and cook 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and peppercorns, season and continue cooking 3 – 4 minutes over medium heat.
Pour in beef stock, mix and bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into sauce; cook 2 additional minutes to thicken. Remove steaks from oven and serve with sauce.
