Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 tab. butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 cup all flour
  • 1 tab. sugar
  • 1 teas. baking soda
  • 1/2 teas. salt
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tab. minced onion
  • 2 teas. Italian seasonings
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • Additional Parmesan cheese and Italian seasonings

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven at 350. In a small bowl, combine sour cream, milk, and butter; set aside. In a large bowl, combine next 7 ingredients. Stir in sour cream mix until moistened. Place dough onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth, about 1 minute. Divide dough into two round loaves. Place loaves on greased cookie sheet. Brush top of loaves with egg white; sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese and Italian seasonings. Cut an X about 1/2 inch through top of each loaf. Bake 30-35 minutes or golden brown. Makes 2 loaves.
