Ingredients
- 2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 oz. cold butter, cut in pieces
- 3/4 cup buttermilk, plus 1 Tbsp. for brushing
- 1/2 cup dried blueberries
- cinnamon sugars
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in food processor. Add cold butter and pulse several times, until coarse meal consistency.
Add buttermilk a little at a time, pulsing a few times after each addition, until 3/4 cup buttermilk is used and mixture is clumping.
Add blueberries and pulse just a few times to blend dough, or fold in by hand.
Transfer dough to a floured surface and pat into a round about 1/2" thick. Cut into 10 to 12 pieces.
Place on greased baking sheet. Brush with buttermilk then sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Serve warm.
