Ingredients
- 1 box spaghetti, cooked al dente
- 4 eggs
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 container parmesan cheese, grated (6 oz)
- 1 large container cottage cheese
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- (There is another recipe for baked spaghetti that calls for 8 oz Velveeta, 4 oz cream cheese and 4 oz mozzarella. Could adapt that combination to this recipe, putting all on as with the mozarella alone)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Brown ground beef, drain and mix with spaghetti sauce. Set aside. Combine spaghetti, eggs, butter and parmesan cheese. Divide into 2 pie pans. Layer cottage cheese as much as desired. Layer beef/sauce mixture. Cover with foil and bake 20-30 minutes. Uncover and top with mozzarella cheese, bake another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. (I think you can use 6 egg whites, and little or no margarine or butter and it would still be good.) Also, you may put the pies together then refrigerate overnight. Then bake covered for 45 minutes to 1 hour, and uncovered with cheese for 10 minutes.
