Ingredients
- 1 pound mild sausage
- 1 8-inch frozen deep-dish piecrust, in aluminum pie plate
- 2 cups (8 ounces) grated sharp Cheddar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Cook until no pink remains, about 10 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and transfer to the piecrust. Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
2. In a small bowl, whisk eggs and half-and-half to combine. Pour over the cheese and sausage.
3. Place quiche on a baking sheet and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is firm. Remove from oven and let cool 15 minutes before cutting into wedges.
