"Soft" Hershey Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 3/4 cup margarine
• 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2-1/2 unsifted flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cream first four ingredients together.

Add vanilla and eggs to the mix.

Add remaining dry ingredients, and mix thoroughly.

Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 350.
