- 5 Tablespoon Water
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 6 Oz Choc Chips
- 1 Cups Finely Chopped Nuts

Cover a pie pan with aluminum foil or use a square disposable foil pan
Butter it well.
In a sauce pan combine sugar, butter, water and salt. Over medium heat bring to a boil. stir constantly, and boil until brittle or 300 degrees on a candy thermometer. This takes approximately 10 mins. and will be the color of peanut butter and when dropped into ice water will become brittle. Remove from heat quickly as it will burn rapidly.
Pour into the pan and let it set for three min. Sprinkle the Choc Chips over the hot toffee mixture. Gently Spread the Choc Chips
and then cover with the nuts and tamp down lightly. Cool and cut into pieces
