Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 pounds uncooked shrimp (31-40 per pound), peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat; saute garlic until tender, about 1 minute. Add shrimp; cook and stir until shrimp begins to turn pink, 4-5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer shrimp to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish.
Add wine to same skillet; bring to a boil. Cook and stir 5 minutes; pour over shrimp. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted, 8-10 minutes.
Yield: 6 servings.
