Ingredients
- 7 oz almond paste (200 grams)
- 1 cup sugar (250 ml)
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup finely chopped almonds

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 350
grease or line cookie sheet w/parchment
Break almond paste into pieces
Process w/sugar in food processor til pulverized
Add egg whites & process til blended
Spread almonds on sheet of paper
Drop scant tablespoons (10 ml) of dough onto almonds & roll til evenly coated
Shape into crescents & place abt 2" apart on prepared baking sheet
Bake 10 - 14 mins or til golden
Cool completely on sheet
Opt:
Drizzle with melted choc or dip ends into melted choc
Sprinkle w/confectioners sugar before serving
Store between layers of waxed paper up to 4 days
Can be frozen
