Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 squares semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup boiling water

Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour, sugar, salt and soda together in bowl.
Melt in a double broiler 1 square chocolate with butter. Mix vinegar and milk and add to melted chocolate mixture. Add vanilla extract. Now add chocolate mixture all at once to flour mixture.
Thoroughly blend, then add pecans. Stir until pecans are evenly distributed. Turn batter into greased pan; top with brown sugar. Combine 1 1/2 Cups boiling water with 2 squares of chocolate; stirring until thoroughly mixed.
Pour over top of batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
