Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 large garlic clove, minced or 2-2 1/2 teaspoons minced
  • 2 (26 ounce) jars four cheese-flavored tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 (25 ounce) packages frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Step 1

Spray 5 or 6 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Heat oil in Dutch oven or 12-inch skillet over medium heat until hot. Add onion and garlic; cook about 4 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in pasta sauce, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.

Place 1 cup of the sauce mixture in sprayed slow cooker. Add 1 package frozen ravioli; top with 1 cup of the cheese. Top with remaining package of the ravioli and 1 cup cheese. Pour remaining sauce mixture on top.

Cover; cook on Low setting for 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 hours. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
