Ingredients

  • 6 pieces veal fillet
  • 8 oz. button mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 oz. butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 tbs. whiskey
  • 150 ml. white wine
  • 4 tbs. double cream
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tbs. Worcestire sauce

Step 1

Place the veal in a large bowl. Combine the oil, sauce, salt and pepper. Marinade the veal with the mixture for 1 ½ hours. Thinly slice the mushrooms and chop the onion. Melt 1 oz. butter in a pan and fry onions until transparent. Add the mushrooms and fry for 3 minutes. Melt the remaining butter in another pan and brown veal. Heat whiskey, alight and pour over the veal. Add mushroom sand wine. Simmer 3 minutes. Remove veal, boil sauce 3 minutes more and remove from heat, stir in cream and juice.
