Preparation
Step 1
Place the flour, bread crumbs, and garlic salt/allspice in a medium size baking dish; Mix together thoroughly. Add the eggs to a large dipping bowl. Add vegetable oil to the bottom of a large skillet (a little more than enough to cover the bottom of the skillet) and heat the oil over MEDIUM heat. Dip the pork cutlets into the egg; Turn the pork cutlet over and dip the second side into the egg. Place the dipped pork cutlets into the flour mixture; Turn the pork cutlet over and dip the second side into the flour mixture. Carefully add the coated pork cutlets to the skillet and cover. Cook until the bottom side of the pork cutlets is golden brown; Flip the pork cutlets over and cover the skillet. *Make sure that there is enough oil in the bottom of the skillet so that the breading on the pork cutlets does not burn.* Continue cooking the cutlets on the second side for about 7-10 minutes or until the pork is no longer pink in the center and the middle is solid. Serve the pork cutlets with honey or barbecue sauce drizzled on top. *My family likes to enjoy pork cutlets served with cream corn on the side.
