Warm Cinnamon Apples
By Addie
This simple spiced apples recipe is great for breakfast, a warm and yummy side, or served atop pork. If you can't find McIntosh apples, substitute another baking apple such as Rome or Gala, or try a crisp, tart green apple such as Granny Smith.

This was fabulous. I just made it for breakfast.
This recipe is awsome. It's simple and yummy. I made a double batch and my kids and family devoured it. I'm on a diet, but, I enjoyed it VERY much.
These are delicious and so easy to make. After slicing, I also cut them in half for the little mouths in my family. I have served them over French toast, pancakes, and stirred into oatmeal. But I imagine, they would be fabulous served warm, over vanilla ice cream with cinnamon sugar pie crust triangles - a deconstructed apple pie a la mode. Gotta go try that. . .
My first time fixing it and my family loved it!
No need to add so much water in my opinion. Apples will produce enough juice to create the syrup.
