Bread Pudding

Ingredients

• Sauce:
• 6 or 7 slices bread
• 3 eggs
• 1 qt. milk
• 1/2 c. raisins
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 c. boiling water
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 T. cornstarch
• 2 T. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Break bread slices and cover bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Spread raisins on bread. Beat eggs and add milk, sugar, spices, and vanilla. Pour over bread. Bake at 350 degrees until knife inserted comes out clean.

Sauce:
Combine sugar, cornstarch, and water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla
